I was just wondering if anyone has the Air Intake System from Eurosport Tuning? I was thinking it might make more power because the factory air-box seems to be restrictive. I figure turbo cars suck a lot of air so a more open filter system might increase performance. It looks really nice in the picture too.

The following link will take you to the item I am looking at.

I saw this design a short while ago and thought better of it as the OEM air intake has a connector taking air from inside the front wing as opposed to the design of this one as it just seems to suck air that is available within the engine bay and therefore warmer. I notice they seem to claim "better noise" ??????? haven't quite worked out how. Years ago I had a four can unit on an old Lancia Delta, now that made some noise from the engine bay!!

That looks better than the system they offer on the S60. As long as it is completely sealed, it does look nice. Hopefully someone else knows for sure...

I have it.

Very nice product. But don’t expect to see any power raise from any kind of those filters.
Because the income boost pressure in every case remains the same.
So no extra air will enter to your engine.

Although it’s good for turbine’s health. It’s not stressed a lot to suck air.
Plus, it’s eliminates the turbo lag.
