Arg this is so annoying, I just picked up my 2000 C70 LT 2D Turbo Coupe (not a convertable) and 2 days after buying it my window (drivers side) randomly stopped working - I can't figure out if it's the switch or the motor, but there's some kind of click on the inside of the door when I press the open button (pushing down on the button) on the window, but nothing happens when I press the close button (you know what i mean, pull it up rather than push it down) for the drivers window. However, the passenger window controls both work perfectly.

I started to take the panel off but it didn't "feel right", per say, so I stopped. I assume taking off the entire panel is the only way to get to the switches to see what's wrong? My dad used to own a 2000 V70R and encountered a similar problem with a fussy switch or two but he just took compressed air and aired it out... I don't think it's the same thing though.
