I own a 62 122 and have no idea how to install the window scrapers... I have the chrome piece and the scraper itself, but it looks like there should be a mounting piece but have no idea what it looks like or where to find it.

any help would be appreciated.

Since you state that you have a 122 there should be no chrome on the scrapers.
I think what you have belongs on e 222 version, that is a totally different construction.
On the 122 there should only be a rubber scraper, that can be pressed into the little gutter between the doorskin and the window.
I used liquid soap to get the rubber into the gutter.

On the back two doors there is a chrome piece that holds the scraper, and on the front two doors its pretty apparent that there should be a bracket or something to hold the chrome piece on.

I am talking about the outside of the car by the way.
