Hey everyone!

Got my car stuck in the snow today. By the time I rocked it out, the check engine light came up with the transmission up arrow blinking. It's running fine -- I'm sure I just triggered something while trying to get it out and spinning the tires.

However, it's not shutting off.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

disconnect the battery earth lead and wait 30 seconds. refit and see if the lamp is still on, if it is you have a issue, if it does not come back on after a good run may just be a one off glitch. Or if in waranty take to the dealer.

I had the same problem with mine when I got stuck in deep snow and was beating the hell out of it to get unstuck. I checked it with my code reader and it said Transmission Control Module Malfunction. I erased the codes and never had a problem. You can reset it with an OBD2 code scanner, if you don't have one some auto parts stores (such as Autozone) can do it for you.
