Picking up my 2002 C70 Coupe this weekend! Black on light grey, 53K, auto. Looks great, seem to be in good shape. I've been cheap with my cars, this is the most I've ever spent. A bit nervous from reading polar opposite reviews of the C70 sucks and falls apart vs I LOVE my C70! It's replacing my aging 1992 240. I was looking at A4s and had basically decided to go non-Volvo for the first time in awhile. C70 coupes seemed to be non-where to be found anyway. Last weekend bored I did an autotrader.com search. There it was 20 mins away at a small luxury used car dealer. 60K service is going to be coming up and I've resigned myself to putting some decent money into it if needed.

That is one sharp C70. If it were only red and convertible it would be perfect. Shut up Greekmason, I don't want to hear it. I'm not listening, I'm not listening. :whistling:

Chop the top off! No way! :) I have no interest in the convertible. I would actually curse the convertibles when searching.....grr another d*mn covertible again.

I'm just hoping for no weird C70 problems. Oh, and that the Kenwood touch screen DVD player is hooked up to a nav system!

There, I fixed my pic by uploading attachments. I don't know why my link was broken, the file was there.

No, red's OK! Though it looks great in black. Going to work I've been passing a black convertible w/ black top. I was pretty adamant about having a black interior in my next car but black on black is a bit much so I'm OK with the grey though I wish it was a bit darker. Not a fan of Volvo's beige mainly because of the colors of the parts they don't make beige. A darker brown would be great. I remember looking at '64 Chevy sales material in a big binder with paint chips and interior swatches. The Corvette could be had with black or saddle leather that year. Saddle, that sounds good. :)

Now a saffron/black 5-speed, that would be perfect.

i had an audi S6 before it crapped out on me and i bought the volvo to hot rod, anyway, i had hoped to get an interior like the TT has, that cool baseball leather colored leather. that was a beautiful color w/ a black paint job. you are correct about the black/black, a little much if you can't pull it off. i've seen them done nice and seen them on the sh*tty side.
