howdy,
i'm new to the forums here (first post), and I am looking for the air meter assembly out of a 240 running any form of CIS.
there is a mod you can preform on volkswagens with CIS using the bottom half of that assembly and get (seriously) more than 10hp at the wheels!
if anyone has some parts... i have some cash.
THANKS!

Back in the day when I had volks. Rabbit's we would knock the brass insert out of the throttle body.More air and more power. On a GTI engine after doing that it would burn 1st and 2nd gear to redline.

Back in the day mine did.If you look at a throttle body from 80 or older. When you look at it it has 2 holes primary and secondary.Look close and you can see there is a sleeve stuck in there. It is a diffrent color from the rest of the throttle body.Knock it out.I was able to burn !st,2nd, and chirp 3rd.
