I have an XC90 that is less than a year old, I have a terrible smell inside my car (rotten eggs, spoiled milk). I haven't changed the type of fuel I use and I'm not using the airconditioner (some thing folks have attributed odor issues to)...and there is no spill. The dealership in Chicago (which is never terribly helpful or service-oriented in my experience) said it's some type of "corrosion" and they say they fixed it (patted me on the head and sent me on my way) but the smell is STILL THERE. Any ideas of what I should tell them, what I should insist they do to fix the problem once and for all? Thanks.

has your fuel economy gotten worse? if so, it might be your cat. but that is weird for it to go so soon. also, do you have a sunroof? it might be that there are leaves or such stuck in your drain tubes and that might cause the smell. unless you have been practising satanic rituals in the back of your xc and have brought beelzebub into our plane of existence :grin: good luck and get another dealership if poss. i hate when they treat people like little kids.
