I just put 17 inch wheels on my 2004 S40 1.9T. I am not sure how many pounds of air I should have in them. I inflated them to 34 pounds but it seems to be riding really hard. I am afraid of under-inflating them and bending one of them because the roads are in bad condition because of the winter. If anyone has tested their air pressure and has a recommendation I would appreciate any input you have. Thanks

28 at the front and 32 in the rear unless you have rft in which case 33 all round.

I went from 16" to 17" on my S60. Even properly inflated the ride will be firmer (read rougher) than with the 16" wheels. You now have less sidewall to absorb bumps in the road. It is just part of what you have to deal with to look cooler B) with the larger wheels.
