how can I reset the text messege so that it doesn't pop up everytime I start my car without having to take it to the dealership?

The text messages come on because something is wrong.They wont go off until it is repaired.

heres one for you..... i had a text message saying that i had a parking light bulb out...... .the next time i got in the car, it had gone...... does this mean that possibly it was a loose bulb wich has righted itself being as the text has now gone or will the message just display the once anyway, leaving me to remember and fix the problem ???

just reading about your message window,i also had the same on my 2002 V70,the same message came and went then in the end the bulb did blow?? Was the car trying to forwarn me?? Just have a quick check of all your lights whilst the car is running....main beam,fogs the whole lot. :beer:

Sometimes the elements break and when you hit a bump they touch again and work for a little while.Thats why the message was on then went off.
