[color=blue][size=7][font=Geneva]Hi, I'm organising an event in Yeovil (UK) for all things Swedish. The date planned is 27th April. It is being planned as a day to come along and show off your cars, be it Saab or Volvo or even Koenigsegg if there are any local. A beauty contest for cars will take place. An event to meet old friends and new and just to laze around talking about your favorite things. Please go to www.swedishday.co.uk for updated news. There is a charge for being there but that is too help cover the price of the ground and a day plaque if enough people say they will attend. Thank you. Robin.

Hi to all those who have asked about camping the night before. At this moment in time I'm trying to get permission for camping at the football ground but it's looking unlikely. I've not given up so watch this space. There is however a campsite just out side of Yeovil, just over a mile from the site who allow tents and caravans to pitch for £10 a night. It's attached to a pub so food and drink is not a problem. www.halfwaycaravanpark.com for extra details.

This little show is shaping up quite nicely with a lot of interest coming from many avenues and I thank you all for that. For all of you who know you are defiantly be coming along, could I request that you please send in your forms, just so that I can give the powers that need them a rough figure. I am very happy for those people who want to turn up to do so. If you think you may be one of the latter maybe you could pm me so I have a second list in pencil. Many thanks to everyone. Robin. :D

Hello everyone, well as off this morning the Swedish Day event has moved to a new location. It will now take place at Haynes Motor Museum near Sparkford. Times will be 10am to 4pm (ish). There will now be no charge to enter your cars as Haynes are not charging me this year. Haynes are also giving us a special day deal to get into the museum. There is a good café on site serving hot and cold food. Plenty for the children to do too. If you were one of those who sent me a fiver you will get this back on the day. The event will still be a get together to chat and chat. I hope everyone is happy with this change. Robin.

Now that there is no charge, please come along and join in. The show is between 10 and 4, the museum is open between 9 and 5.30 so even if it rains you can still be dry.
Looking forward to seeing you all there. Robin
