How're you doing guys?
Here's the case: I have a Volvo 850 1994 with an H&R set of springs ( 1.2 inch drop front and 1.0 inch drop rear ). I recently ordered a set of 4 18 inches wheel. My question is:

Are 225-40-18 too big for my car or they might be ok?

Thank you for your advice

 Cheers

As long as the offset is very close to factory you should be fine. There might be a slight rub on full turns.

You can get an extra set of spacers from volvo to prevent you turning the lock to far.

If you do that it will take a football feild to turn around. It limits the steering so much.

I just bought an 02 S60T with 17" wheels and 235/45/17 tires and experience the tire rub problem too. The Volvo service dept. mentioned the spacers as well. I read that another poster (can't find the strand again) had Volvo replace the axle under warranty. Has anyone else had this done?
