I was actually set on getting a dark blue one with a light grey interior.

I eventually found one quite near me, at the right price, but when I had a good look around it, it just wasn't right. Too many marks on the paint-work and leather seats etc.

The salesman told me he had another C70 in the show room if I was interested. I enquired about the colour scheme, and when he told me, I initially said I wasn't interested, but then I thought I might as well have a look, as I was there.

When I walked into the show-room and saw the shiny saffron beauty with its hood down my previous preference just dissolved. The car was cheaper than the other one and in my opinion, in much better condition.

I couldn't even consider changing the colour, I think it is like Marmite, you either love it or hate it, and I'm with the former.

I like the fact that its such an unusual colour. Anyway, I'm going on a bit now.

I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY THINK YOU SHOULD PAINT ITRED. While you're at it you need to chop the top off and make it a convertible! Don't listen to Greek. He knows I want a red convertible C70 and he just CAN'T LEAVE IT ALONE.

Ooops! Just opened your thumbnail image and saw it was already a convertible. Nix the chopping the top off part.
