:00000732: The safety of the 850 (front & side airbags, 4 wheel ABS, etc.) were some of the big reasons we purchased it for our soon to be 16 year old son.

are you planning on driving off a cliff soon? why would you want to emulate something like that? like JKS2 pointed out, 4 air bags, abs, etc. nothing short of a tank is going to keep your car in one piece. like JKS2 mentioned, that is also one of the reasons for me purchasing an 11 year old car.
