440 Bumper/fender Removal, Is this an easy job

Newbie Group: Members Posts: 12 Joined: 21-January 08 Member No.: 37,287 Status: Location: Scotland Drives: 440 1.8i ES	Hi , am new to Volvo but due to accident my front bumper on 96 1.8 440 is cracked. I have a good one on my old scrap 2.0 440. Is the bumper the same and is it an easy job to remove? Also wish to fit a towbar for my trailer. Is this an easy job to do or is it best left to the pros?

Had a look but not sure if I am missing it but could not find section on 440 bumper removal, or info to tell me if front bumper is same for a 1994 M 2.0i as it is for a 1996 1.8i ES. Can you confirm if this detail is there and it is just my poor computer skills which has missed it ? Have attached a pic to show front bumper damage. I have the broken piece. Member Group: Members Posts: 39 Joined: 7-September 06 Member No.: 19,524 Status: Location: england Drives: 1994 440 1.8i se	:00000732: Yes the bumpers are the same on all face lift models 1993 ish onwards and so shopuld be a straight swap over.the haynes manual will tell you all you need to know and if you don't have one they are easily available on fleabay for not a lot of money. there is quite a lot of work involved but looks like it's worth it as your car look like it is i good nick. will retrack my steps later and find you a linky with the relevant info just incase.
