I need any advice on R and R headlight lenses on my 2004 S80 T6.I have zenon bulbs.I took it to a dealership,but they told me they are only authorized to replace the entire unit,for a cost of $1200 per light plus new software for them.$2800-$3000 total.I bought after market lenses,now I could use any tips I can get.Thank's in advance.

That is correct. OEM lenses are not sold separately.

To replace the lense, I believe you need to remove the front bumper. You can search the thread here. on how to do this. I remember posting instructions here. Once the bumper is off, the rest is easy.

This may sound stupid, but because of how much it is, why don't you file a claim against your insurance company?

I have a 2004 s80 t6 with xenon bulbs.I appreciate your info,but it didn't have enough instruction to remove bumper.Have you seen any updated instructions? It looks like I have to remove side marker to remove bumper.I was able to remove lens,but to reinstall lower clips,the bumper has to come off.
