Had a few cold days this week... -23...car started fine, 0 messages.
Headed off to work,after driving a few miles at highway speed a " Engine Service Urgent" and "Service Emission System" message popped up.
A few minutes later I lost power and speed dropped to around 25 mph.
I pulled over,shut off engine for a minute then restarted it.Car ran fine the rest of the day.Happened next two days but only in the morning when it was very cold out,again car started fine, 0 messages.
Car runs fine after being restarted.Both messages disappear once car is restarted.
Before messages come on car hesitates slightly,almost feels like I'm running out of gas.
I had already booked an appointment at the garage before this happened,getting a window repaired and fuel filter changed Monday morning,guess i'll see if they can pull any codes..
Any ideas on what could cause this? already changed plugs and 3 coils in the fall.Could a plugged( or frozen) fuel filter cause this?
