Hi this is my first post,

Can anyone tell me how to adjust the handbrake cable. I did see a couple of posts which showed photos of an adjuster screw under the handbrake gaitor but I've just looked and mine does not have this.
Car is 2002 S60 2.0TSE (UK model)

Well I have the same model (2001) and that's where the adjuster is ?

It should be down the side (drivers -UK) of the lever.

Don't know if there are any variations, or if it's possible to fit a different cable without the adjuster though.

I had a better chance to look at it closely today and found the adjuster under the plastic shroud. gave it a few turns and it's much better.
