my mom gave me her 1999 s80 for my birthday last month.....i want to install two sony 15inch subfoowers and a 1200watt amp (maybe more) , i already have the subwoofers and amp as a gift.. now i just need to know how to install it and what else im going to need too install it ....any help is appreciated...

You need:
1. Box or enclosure for the subs, usually custom for 15's
2. Wire kit for amp install, 4guage or larger kit if that is true wattage
3. High quality line level convertor to hook up to factory system unless the amp has high level inputs that you can use

I would have it done by a shop, unless you have prior audio install experience.

Even though I think you will be underwhelmed by the sound of the Sony subs (very regular to say the least).. make sure to use alot of damper on the car, you dont want to sound like those fools driving down the street where all you hear is their trunk rattling and not their music.

Before I got my 02 s80, I always vowed to load up my car with audio, but i realised that the S80's audio is great for factory stock gear and i would rather not lose use of the wheel controls and changer.
