"Bulb Failure Dipped Beam"

This message is coming up on my dash. Is it just a case of me having a light bulb out?

If so, how do I find out which bulb (left or right) it is? Both high beams work and parking lights work, but both low beams don't. Also, how easy is it to change a light bulb. Never done that before.

relativley simple. twist off plastic covers behind lamp assembly. Spring-like clamp holds lamp in place. Yu can use a small screwdriver to gently pry it up. Pull the bulb from the socket. Bulb will only seat one way when replaced. Don't touch the glass of the bulb. Natural oil from your hand will transfer to the glass and may cause premature bulb failure.

Had the same msg, and even tho some sites claim 'it takes the head mechanic at my dealership to change this', it is pretty simple. There is actually a YouTube video with the title 'My Wife Changes Volvo Headlamp' or some such. From what I am hearing, you might as well get used to this task, as it is a high-failure part.
