All the rest of my lights work fine headlights indicators daytime running lights.

When I turn the switch to position 1 I do not get any lighting checked fuses, switch replaced bulbs all checked.

Can someone please shed some light on this

Thanks
Ian

On the light switch you should find that there is a green indicator, if this is on then your side lights are on.
If you have daytime running lights working from the time you put the key in the ignition and the switch at position 0, rotating the switch to position 1 will not have any effect. In this scenario positions 0, 1 and 2 the little green indicator will be illuminated.
If you do not use daytime running lights working from the time you put the key in the ignition and the switch at position 0, rotating the switch to position 1 will turn on side lights including day time running lights. In this scenario only positions 1 and 2 will the little green indicator be illuminated.

I am sure that's how it is but I am sure someone else will be able to tell us otherwise.
