Hey everyone,

Im new to the forums and Im looking at a 2007 S40 T5 right now and I love the car, but Im new to Volvo's and am curious about reliability, regular maintenence (oil changes mainly), etc.

Im an avid Nissan fan but the S40 really caught my attention and I know Volvo is known for their safety so I know that won't be an issue ;-)

The car is actually in the states and im in Canada, so Im curious if the warrenty will transfer, etc. The car has a lemon title and I was informed the ECM was re-programmed to fix the issue, would that be sufficent?

Anyways, Im glad to be on the boards and who knows maybe I will be purchasing this vehicle and be more frequent here. So if anybody can answer my questions, that would be great.

Oh, I forgot to add... Im addicted to having a Command Stard (damn winters!) so is it possible for this vehicle? I know an additional key is $300 or sometimes more.

Personally, I would avoid a car that has been deemed a lemon like it was the plague! Look around a little more. There are a bunch of CPO S40s for sale. JMHO.
