Is there a mileage (MPG) difference between the AWD and 2WD versions of the 2.5T?

Also, is there any reason NOT to get an AWD as far as reliability and repair is concerned? Unnecessarily more complicated, etc...

Thanks. Jim B.

Don't know about the mileage, maybe http://www.edmunds.com/ would be helpful.

AWD systems cost more and have more that could possibly go wrong, so there is the potential for more repair costs. Wheather or not you need AWD, I think depends on where you live.

AWD will always use more fuel than 2WD. besides the weight of the system, there is the drag on the system with power transfer.
