just took my silver 2008 v50 2.4i last nite... got the select package + 17inch rims...

here are my pros & cons of the car so far ~100 miles

PROS
- looks, form, function... sporty... i love hatchbacks and i think this is basically a sportier hatch - i fit as much random "baby stuff" in the back as I do in my MDX.

- price/value - since i'm going to assume it is reliable... i ended paying ~2000 under invoice - so for 27k I got a pretty loaded v50 - im really happy with the price.

- surprisingly zippy 170 hp... my mdx has 230ish and the car i traded in ('99 g20 had 140) I really didnt expect this kind of power and speed.

-mp3 cd changer! i love this - the aux is nice but this is even better.

-17in rims are beautiful


CONS
-startup is loud as rpm shoots to 1500+ on ignition... this seems to be a common prob in this engine...

-no homelink with the select package... i cant understand this at all... every car including my 99 Galant had this installed with a similar "select" package.

-storage inside couldve been better optimized...


all in all i'm really excited about the car... i'll be back here often to give updates...

I hope you'll enjoy the car.
After 18000 miles and few glitches I'm still quite very happy to drive my S40...
