Hi All,


I'm new here and driving 855T5. I've got a friend who is driving 855T5 as well and having the below probelm.

Recently, he has sent his ECU to Speedtuning for the upgrade. Once he has got back the ECU and can't wait to feel the different. Immediately after putting the ignition key to the position 2, the fan is on and the car can't start. It cranks but can't start. It seems like the car is in overheated condition, that's why the fan is on and the temp gauge is not going up.

The car can start with no issue if we swap with the stock ECU again. We have contacted Speedtuning but still no solution yet but according to them, it might be the setting in the chip itself has got problem while sending the ECU back to us.


Need help if anyone has experienced this before...

I am sorry to say that the problem is a HUGE one! In fact, the car might just EXPLODE!!! (for no serious reason at all). HEHE.

As such, i offer to take up the responsibility of this grave liability, from you (or your "friend", if you really insist on it). RM50 is yours for the chip.

Btw,
If you insist that the chip is not with you, but with your "friend", then i would suggest you bring the chip, together with the receipt back to the place you bought it, and INSIST that they explain why the heck cant it work right?
If the explanation is BS, then take them to court!

Wow you got me scared -I am using Powerchip (they do Evolve's Engine Software Development) and I hope this does not happen to me.

They tuned my S60R with the Evolve Power Package and I am :right:

But this time it is for a 1989 760 Turbo
