X-Chip installed on 88 estate, Red to Orange, Brown to Yellow, Black to Earth in the wiring of the air mass measurement unit. Noticeable power improvement in both Economy and Power settings at <2500rpm, more so in Power setting. Hot start appears less reliable initially-flooding? in Economy mode. Not yet exceeded 2500rpm/70KM/H Fuel economy change will be reported later. I am a conservative driver, I began with 13.3L/100KM on original system. System can be restored to OEM with changing 1 connection. Have concerns as to effect on CAT life long term, but willing to experiment and report. X-Chip avail ebay Oz. I have no affiliation with design or supply chain of X-Chip, although I am electronically qualified.. I am an unbiased independent end user. It does work, specific readings have not been taken. I comment only that I can feel the differences, I am unqualified to guess how much magnitude, other than to say it seems sufficient to justify the expense to my purposes-IE improved occasional 700KG towing with 3 passengers and some 200kg cargo in rear. I will not be able to use o'drive due to traffic when towing. Normall towing range abt 75KM return. Longer trips possible in future.

Hi Manxman,

I bought one too but haven't installed it as I am not sure what it will do to my car. How did yours go? I am very interested to find out. The pomax advertising seems to have dissapeared worldwide. Have we been done?

Cheers,

Laurieblake
