Hi Guys,

As you can see am new, I don't even know how to enter post yet.
I have a volvo S40 XS but the previous owner of my car did not pass on the radio code. The stereo has now entered code so I can't use stereo now. Is there way out?

:00000732: You can contact the dealer with the VIN for the car and they can give you the code. Some dealers will require proof that you own the vehicle before they give out the code. Also, look through your owners manual. Sometimes you'll find the code on a credit card size card. It is a 4 digit code.

it may or may not help I had the same problem and was told to slide the radio out and check the top for a four digit number .. now my radio has two buttons and some have two holes ether is very easy to tape into and slide the unit out and walla!!! on mine was a smily face with the code ...worth a try
