The good news is that the door is closed and not left swinging in the wind.
The bad news is that the latch will not disengage from the chasis for me to remove the assembly to replace the actuator...ugh.

I've removed the rear panel and inspected all moving parts: they work fine.
The automatic locks engage and disengage the locking solenoid (or at least appear to move physically), but when trying to open the latch...I get no resistance (almost as if the door is still locked).

So I tried to remove the assembly, but the assembly is one unit and is not releasing from the chassis.

Any suggestions on how I can get the darn thing to release itself so that I can figure out what is going on?

Mind had same problem...
I broke the speaker grill and with my own hand... I pull the door trip out..
and put your hand into the actuator... put the Thing... down and the door will open ..
the thing is....
if you see another door actuator,,, you will know what is the key you can pull down..
so to speak... open another working door's actuator.. and you'll know it...
