Hello:
I have just joined this forum and have been most frustrated tonight.
My V70 was quite low on fuel so, I pulled into a gas station to fill, but the gas door wouldn't open even though I had all the doors in the Central Locking System unlocked as per the user's manual.

The attendant said he has seen this in other Volvo's.

Just got home and tried to take off the panel in the trunk, but there is still no access to the gas door!

Anyone else have this problem?

Are you sure there is no access? On my '06 V70 T2.5, you can reach the latch with your left hand. Just pull it towards you.
