After reading a little it says the shift time of 2nd to 3rd gear occurs around 25-86 mph... Mine shifts 100% of the time into 3rd at 20 miles an hour. 1st to 2nd gear is 10 mph and it seems when working 3rd to 4th is 35 mph..... is this right? Should my 2nd gear be going past 40 MPH? Any Idea? thanks

:) Feel sure there are people more qualified than I on shift patterns...
All the years I've driven, vehicles with automatic transmissions shifting patterns is determined by the driver and the actual speed the car is going forward...(Weight and what you might be pulling is a factor)..Also in the equation is altitude.,
weather, road condition, and several other varibles can determine shifting....
I just don't believe you can get two identical vehicles and find they shift the same....
If one stomps on the gas, then later shifting will occur, just the opposite will occur if you start off slower.....
The slower one accelerates, under ideal conditions, the smoother the shift should be...
