Hey all, my dad's 2004 2.5T AWD gets real strong vibration sometimes on the highway, Volvo said it was a loose exhaust mount that makes the tubing rub the driveshaft. A new, "trustworthy" (longtime friend of family member) says that SECOND, or more rearward driveshaft is actually slightly warped, and at higher speeds this is starts to cause stronger and stronger vibrations. Has anybody heard of problems with the S60 driveshafts before? Specifically the second or more rearward part? There's only a few months left on the extended warranty, and if Volvo drag their feet I'm afraid we might have to cough up the money to fix this ourselves. Any knowledge, tips, or advice would be greatly appreciated, Thanks :)

had the same problem.

When I removed the wheel and the cv joint boot, saw the damage of the C.V., so I replaced the complete driveshaft, no more vibrations nor "click" noises.

Could be a bad tire or a bad wheel.

Changing the driveshaft is very easy, I did it in 2 hours with the proper tools.
