Hi,

The transmission of my volvo at 60 mph slipped and engine light came on but the car runs fine. After that I still get this "slipping"(kind of single limp) every time I reach 50 or 60 mph

Local Volvo dealership told me I need new transmission and there are two codes related to tourgue converter and transmission. ( $4 K for it)

How long can do you think it can last like that? Is it possible to be a sensor and not the internal transmission parts ?

Have recently experienced something similar but found it to be that the slave cylinder was getting stuck. Have a word with a local mechanic as apparently there are 3 different types of cylinder and this is prone to the internal units however it is not unheard of for the external one to get stuck either.
