Good morning guys.
Something is loose in the rain sensor on my 2004 2.4i, although the sensor still works fine.
I notice an occasional buzz/rattle from inside the part where the mirror joins the inside of the windscreen.
It's not obvious how to take this apart for investigation (of course), so I'd appreciate any advice on how best to open it up, before I set about it with a prying screwdriver..............Martyn.

My mirror fell off along with the plastic cover. It splits into 2 parts straight down the middle.
I found since bonding the mirror back on and cover never really sat right again and sometimes rattles aswell very annoyingly. I simply put some velcrow pads inside it to cushion it against the rain sensor - works fine.
