Can someone please tell me if they have had problems installing a cd player and not getting the aerial to extend. I have bought the Sony CDX R3300, in the instructions for installation it says that if you have an automated aerial that doen not have its own relay then the stereo could damage the aerial.

Need to nkow prior to installation as stereo is still packaged, i can send back if it no good.

The antenna should already have its own relay.To make the installation very easy try to get the wiring plugs.They will plug into the factory wiring after you connect the to your radio.
