Hello!

Recently bought a 2004 S40 LSE. I've noticed over the past few days that the passenger side rear speaker is rattling and seems to be getting worse. I don't think I blew the speaker.

Any suggestions?

Also, I don't think my rear defroster is working. I haven't had time to check that out yet.

I'll put it to you like this. With any set of factory speakers, they are NOT powerful enough to knock any thing loose. Since they're getting worse, i would assume that they are in fact blown or shorted. What size speaker are they putting in there now? I'm sure you could run out and find either a cheap replacement really easy or; you could also make an upgrade, either way replacement with aftermarket equipment is always going to make you happier. Just find a pair that can slide underneath the factory grille and your good to go!
