I checked out the car and drove it. Runs great, everything looks awesome. Had the oil leak and computer fixed, and it also seems that the timing belt is real new. Is the timing belt located on the left side of the engine? If so that belt looks new/good condition. Even though this is not the car, is the timing belt located on the left of this picture? http://i242.photobucket.com/albums/ff149/carmod/IMG_2250.jpg A few inches to the left of the red oil/thing. Otherwise my question is, what do I do next? The seller said everything has just been changed oil etc etc, obviously ill have my mechanic look at it but otherwise, do I need anything? should i put a new air filter in the car? Should i put a cleaner into the tank to just clean it out? What do I need to do to insure a great start is what I am really asking. Thank you and I appreciate all the help this forum has givin me. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would put in a K & N filter. Much better and gets more air to the engine.

Congratulations! :00000732: to the club of S80 owners.
Look forward to seeing pics of your car in the members garage.

Timing belt is to the left and then further up (obscured by cover)

K&N = I vote for this too.

No on the cleaner, just make sure fuel filter is changed when scheduled.

No you don't have to do anything else but I'm sure you would like to. Visit the garage and you can see all the other stuff owners have done.

Welcome and congrats. Being that you are in Jersey, I am sure that you are not using any crap gas. Are you? Shame Shame. anyway, all the premiums brands have a detergent in them,so to add any is not worth it. Just pouring money down the drain. Just keep the service up and enjoy. I also agree on the K&N filter, one of the cheapest and easiest mods to do.
