I"m planning on installing after market HID (xenon) lights on my wife's 2004 xc70. I bought the 50w ballast with 8000k bulb. Am I going to have any electrical issues? has anyone else done this?

I received my lights but they were not the 50W they were the typical 35W, so when I got to finally instal them I got bulb failure on the low beam. I also need to adjust the the hight of the low beam since I'm blinding the on coming traffic. Does any have any information on how to do that?

As far as the ballasts go, do yourself a favour and get the 50w so you dont get that bulb out message. I have a 50w kit on my s60 and no bulb out messages at all. As far aiming, there are two adjustment screws on the headlights, one for vertical and one for horizontal.

I bought the EFX kit for mine and was wondering where did you mount your ballasts? I never realized how tight the engine compartment is compared to the S70s. Thanks.
