I have owned 3 S80's over the past 6 years. Now I have come to replace my current car and I cannot have TV as I have had before. All other manufacturers are offering digital TV now. Why have Volvo stopped it alltogether

Um, to drive safer? Here there is huge group of people who wait for things like this so that they can sue. Maybe Volvo doesn't want the hassle. anyway, they make aftermarket tuners with better reception.
