How would you go about squeezing 300 hp out of a 2003 or later non awd s60 t5? is it possible to get 350? What parts are neccesary and where could I get them?

try ipd. ecu, exhaust, turbo, injectors, etc. Remember, brakes and suspension need to be upgraded. We all need to stop eventually, sometimes REAL FAST.

300 is easily achievable, but for fwd anything more than that and your gonna be replacing your tires every week :P

300hp is not easy but more than doable. I have put these engines north of 600 but its not easy or cheap. For 300-350 to the wheels your looking at some head work, rods should be ok for 300 not 350, new turbo, larger intercooler, and a new ECU and exhaust. If you go with something like the IPD kits they will take you from about 215 to 280hp which is a huge jump but still shy of the 300 mark.

If he went to a slightly wider front tire than the rear, wouldn't that keep torque steer down to a lesser degree? My buddy has a Pontiac SSEI, I know it's an old model, but his fronts were wider than the rears. I remember him telling us that the dealer told him it was to stop torque steer. It worked because he changed his tires and put them wider in the rear, and all he got was wheelspin and torque steer, BIG TIME.

That would only help understeer not torque steer. THE ONLy way to correct torque steer is with a LSD:
