Good afternoon all

What fantastic site - most useful.

A couple of questions after recently buying a P 460 2.0i:

1. Is it a good idea to try and fix/replace headlight bulbs myself
2. Is it a good idea to get the car to a Volvo garage for a service or too expensive

Changing bulbs is easy, heck changing the headlights is just 2 bolts, the headlight lenses are replaceable, thats just a bunch of clips.
as for a service, depends when the last one was, but it would be good for aonce over, bear in ming this probably wont come cheap - last time I put mine in to volvo, it was about £80 per hour. I was once quoted £440 to replace a ECU cable connector - about 40 wires, £40 for the parts - £400 for the labour - I did that job myself in about 3 hours, working carefully with just the parts.
