Totally different designs. I doubt you would ever get it to fit properly.

got any sugestion for on what can i add to make my s40 front facelift look better? i means look more fierce?

can! you can order the black bezel headlights (make sure it's for 2003-2004, and it should fit for 2001) and change the grill to the XC-style one... becuz, y'see, 2001 S40 and 2005 S40 is totally different thing.

btw, make sure the headlight is beaming towards left instead of towards right! yes it's about more RHD and LHD problems so I suggest you source parts from Volvo Malaysia or something.
