Hi-
We own a 2004 XC90 T6. Over the past year we had a number of problems with the radio, consistent with the CD skipping/station changing problems that others have reported. The dealer swapped out the ICM, which fixed that problem. However, we continue to see the radio display behave in a bizarre and distracting way, in which it randomly transposes letters and numbers in the Station Names, call numbers and the streamed tex that the stations transmit. They changed the ICM a second time (or so they say), and we still have the problem. Anyone ever seen this one?

PS--Unrelated to this problem, we have ignominious distinction of having our Volvo nearly totalled on its SECOND day of ownership. With less than 100 miles on speedo, a young kid ran stop sign andsmashed into the drivers side front fender, nearly totalling the vehicle. Fortunately no one was hurt, but as they say, the car has never been quite right...

I just had a problem with my 2005 XC 90 radio display. Started showing bizarre jargon, then went completely dark and is presently non-functioning. Out of warranty. Will cost $900 for a new display. Unbelievable!! Any word on your situation?
