Drives: 1988 240
Okay 1988 240 asking for DEXRON II D for the Tranny and GL5 80w90 in the diff. What brand is everyone using. Will Mobile 1 ATF work in the tranny, and do i need any friction modifiers in the diff ?

If the owner's manual calls for Dexron IID, any Dexron III/Mercon is OK. Mobile 1 is fine if you can afford it.
