I've had my V50 for about a year. When I tried the heat recently, there is none. The fan blows only cold air no matter how the temperature is adjusted. Heat worked perfectly last winter. Any ideas. Thanks.

Do you smell anti-freeze anywhere in the car? is the passenger side carpet wet? it sounds as if your heater core might be busted.

Aboslutely no antifreeze smell and the floorboard is a dry as can be. That's what has me stumped.

Thermostat? it sounds as if the heated anti-freeze is not reaching the core. are the hoses going to the firewall full? any liquid on the ground, etc.?
