Does anybody know how to get ayhe emblem off the trunk of a 240 sedan. I'm talking about the "VOLVO" piece that is on the back of the car. Is it glued on ?

Try a hair dryer and a bone tool so as not to scratch the surface.

Why take it off anyways? You should be proud to own a Volvo.

try goof off. usually it is glued on, if the car is old, like 30 years or so, it might be pegged on, which means you will have to weld the holes closed.

I'm fairly sure the emblem is glued on.

But, just to be certain, you why don't you gently prise away the trim immediately behind where the emblem is fitted to the body, then you will soon establish if the emblem has mounting spiggots protruding through the sheetmetal.

I'm just trying to fix a little body damage right next to the emblem. I need a flat surface for sanding, yes the emblem will go back on as I like the "Factory" look
