We have a 2004 XC90. We just purchased new tires - same size but more aggressive tread. We have the only XC90 mud flaps available through Volvo but the mud by-passes the flaps and covers the side of the car. Anyone had this issue?

That will happen unless you put some big fender flares on it.As soon as you turn the wheel the slightest bit it will go up the side.

Where would you go to purchase these larger fender flares? Does Volvo carry them? Thoughts?

I don't think Volvo Has them avalible yet.You might want to call and check with them.Also you can find a shop that deals in 4X4 trucks and see what is avalible.Some products they carry are universial.
