My 1998 volvo s90 uses more than a quart of oil every 1000 miles. the dealer says it isn't coming outr the back and it isn't leaking. it has a warrantly...i don't think they have told me what else it could be because it is probably in the engine which they would need to fix. what could it be?

It could be bad Valve seals or bad rings.Are you sure it is not leaking.

your engine must have bin overheated one time or more, then i hope you only use
syntetick oil and change ewery 10 000km.
