Recently my Volvo has started shaking when i accelerate. Especially up hills. The shaking goes away when i step off of the accelarator pedal. At first it was only at 50+ miles per hour but now it's happening in as little as 30+ miles per hour.

Need help.

Could thurst bearing or clutch gone? Similar thing happened to me a few years ago, limped home, had the clutch replaced, problem solved.

Interestingly enough, the Volvo dealer told me that the front axle is worn or failing and that is what needs replacing. I'll pick up my car this afternoon. We'll see if this fixes it.

I am concerned though that something like this would happen to my Volvo when it only has 130,000 miles on it. And, wouldn't something like this be under a car guarantee? Not according to dealer unfortunately.
