Ok guys I'm new to the whole Volvo scene and I haven't even gotten my car yet. My question is:

The front grill on the 2005 Volvo S40, can the angled bar be removed without cutting? It's the bar that houses the volvo symbol.

Unless they changed it for 2005 yes it is removeable.It would either have metal clips that held it on or 2 nuts.

Yes it looks like it can be removed. It has the clips holding it. Of course if you want a different looking grill, you can buy another one aftermarket.
