Hello there.. I am a new volvo owner.
I just yesterday purchased a 2004 s40 t5 with 58k miles for 17200. I was bmw devotee that decided that wanted to be different from the pack. ( far too many bimmers on the road now.) I original went to the dealer to look at three cars,
2008 c30... decided against it as i want to buy the car that day, and drive that day.. not 2 months from now. Second was the 2004 s60 r.. *** that is a car .. 53k miles on for 26k a tad much as i have seen others for less, opted against because it turns like an aircraft carrier.. making u turns on cali streets is impossible and it was a titch to low, as i live a decent snow belt.. mountain living at 6500 ft above sea level and we get dumps of snow.. i think it would be problematic. that left me with a couple options.. s60 awd.. only had 07 08 on the lot and about 30k tags.. and couple of higher miles s80 s. nice ..
there was the s40 t5 and its miles with a 19400 sticker. I opted for it , drove it and was surprised at the nimble feeling it had. but the winning trait... hitting the brakes at 50 mph , stopping short, no yaw and no submarining.

the sound system is great..no sub but i listen to 70s,80s and classical music so its not missed.
the navi package...mmmm i think my tom tom is better but hey.. its there, it works,
