Hello,
I have a problem that left headlight of my Volvo V40 2000 1.9 D doesn't work. On instrument lights the bulb appears after few minutes than I starts to drive. I checked Voltage on left headlight and it is 8-9 volts. Right one has 12 V. Of course bulbs are OK and I use those 12V 55W Xeon bulbs. Beam lights work fine.

Hello Svemir!!! First of all replace, or if you don't have it, try to clean the contacts of the rellay that give you energy for that headlight. You will find in the left side, down, multifunction control module. Put the contact in pos II, turn the button headlights for 2-3 times and the rellay will tick it for you. You will find it for sure. Can check also the wiring and fuse from fascia 1 and 2 (are located in the same place). Good luck!!! :)
